SALE OF PERSONAL DATA 

As defined in the CCPA, “sell” and “sale” mean selling, renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, transferring, or otherwise communicating orally, in writing, or by electronic or other means, a consumer’s personal information by the business to a third party for valuable consideration. 

We do not sell your personal data. 

SALE OF PERSONAL DATA OF MINORS UNDER 16 YEARS OF AGE

We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors under the age of 16, although certain third party websites that we link to may do so. These third-party websites have their own terms of use and privacy policies and we encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage and instruct their children to never provide information on other websites without their permission.

YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE CCPA

The CCPA provides California residents with specific rights regarding their personal data.

  • The right to request – Under CCPA, You have the right to request that we share what data we have on you to you. EXERCISING YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE CCPA

Occasionally we may extend the time by an additional 45 days, note this will only be done once, when it is reasonably necessary due to the complexity of your request. Household requests 

“Household requests” means any request to know, delete, or opt out that involves personal data, data that includes the personal data of the other individuals living in the same household.

There are two different types of Household requests. The first being a request for household data where the data is aggregate household data, meaning that the data does not directly or indirectly reveal the identity or specifically relates to any individual in the household. The second being a request for household data where the data is individualised and personal. 

When dealing with Household requests of the first type, we may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access that aggregate household data. This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up our response.

Once your identity and right of access has been confirmed we will respond within the above timeline. 

When dealing with Household requests of the second type, we will require a joint request of all the individuals of the household, we will then need to verify the identity of all the individuals of the household individually. We may need to request specific information to help us confirm their identity and to ensure their right to access. This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We may also contact the household to ask for further information in relation to the request to speed up our response.

Once the identity of all the individuals and their right of access has been confirmed we will respond within the above timeline.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY 

We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us. 

If we become aware that we have collected personal data from anyone under the age of 16 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that data.
